This priority helps you prepare for a specific event, such as a race or meet. The goal is improving strength, speed, power, and or endurance. With performance, it is necessary to fully embrace the event by fully understanding all rules & regulations, to become technically sound with skills and drills, and master the art of that event.
This is rarely a problem for most serious competitors. The problem surrounding performance is how to improve strength, speed, power, and or endurance. Competitors simply want the secret sauce to take their performance to new heights and are ready, willing and able to go to the next level and fill in the holes missing in their preparation.
Our Performance Priority Plan (PPP), we show you the missing components to help competitors accelerate their performance goal by helping you with:
- Nutritional demands to assist you properly fuel your body
- Recovery demands to assist you actively & passively recover before/after training sessions and event
- Prevent injury strategies by assisting you with corrective exercise protocols
All 3 components are critical pieces that are generally absent. With performance, it is critical to properly manage all components to see consistent improvement and results.
Oftentimes when competitors reach new heights, the chance of injury dramatically increases. Shifting the focus to corrective exercise and recovery reduces the chance of injury and further accelerates faster progression over time.
